Scientific Fact: Procrastination of school work is the greatest cure for writer's block. Not that happy with this, seemed underthought and overworded, *sigh*. Let me know what you guys think.

Title: Something to Lose
Words: 103
Rating: G(ish)
Prompt: "Benefit of the Doubt"
Set: Post-"Fault", hospital scene.

This is the second time today that she has felt the unpleasant streaking of tears down her skin. She couldn’t brush them away before, either. She was, and still is, physically unable to lift her hand and take the simple action of swiping her palm over her cheeks. Granted, last time she had a gun in her right hand and her eyes trained on a man with nothing to lose. She knew, then, that to give Gitano the benefit of the doubt was to sign her partner’s death certificate. She knew, then, that with nothing to lose, this man could take everything away.

Note to Readers: Who do you think "the man" is?

Hm. I'm guessing it's Elliot. That he could take everything (their partnership, their bond, namely) away.

I suppose it could also be Gitano again. That he didn't succeed in killing them physically but could, in the end, have succeeded in killing "the two of them" (again, meaning their partnership).

Now, get thee back to school work! ;)

Now you two have got me thinking of starting to issue challenges again here....I've been woeful on my SVU writing of late but have missed it....hmm....

Thank you.. I was hoping you would pick up on the Elliot/Gitano thing. And I will get myself back to school work if you get back to posting challenges. I need to exercise my creative muscles, here!
